Who We Are?

Unifund  PLC is a specialist investment company. It was established in 2007 with the objective of protecting and enhancing our clients’ real wealth over time, all while ensuring the level of investment risk taken is appropriate and agreed.

Unifund  PLC has built strong client relationships and professional connections through trust, openness and clear communication. As a result, our business has grown from personal and professional referrals. We now have clients ranging from individuals and their families to large pension funds and charities. Our network of Intermediary Relationship Managers support financial advisers across the country to deliver their clients’ investment propositions through our risk-managed funds and other services.

Newgate Funding PLC was created in 2005 by a highly specialized team with deep knowledge gained in the formative years of emerging markets. The investment team viewed emerging markets as a diversified set of opportunities - not a single asset class - that required a disciplined research approach.

The members of Newgate Funding PLC senior investment team average over 25 years of experience investing in emerging markets. The team has built a global network of policy specialists to gain deep insight in the drivers for each opportunity.

With over 80 experienced professionals in London, Newgate Funding PLC is a diversified fixed income asset manager in emerging markets. The team manages multiple strategies, including absolute return, liquid alternatives, unconstrained long only, private credit, and customized strategies.
